Paintless Dent Rehearsal

Paintless Dent RehearsalPaintless dent removal, also known as paintless dent repair or PDR, is a vehicle restoration process used for removing minor dents without the need for repainting or getting rid of the vehicle’s factory finish. PDR is performed by slowly and meticulously massaging dents from the vehicle’s back panel with the use of specialised tools. If you’re still on the fence about paintless dent removal, Perth specialists share the following facts with you:

1. As Close to Perfect as Possible

When performed by a professional and highly skilled technician, paintless dent removal is the closest you can get to your vehicle looking like it did prior to the damage. This includes the paint and the metal.

2. More Affordable

PDR is also more affordable than the traditional method of removing dents. This is because it requires less time, which means less labour costs, and that you won’t need to spend on paint and materials as you would with a traditional auto body repair.

3. The Eco-Friendly Choice

Since your vehicle’s factory finish will be preserved, there’s no need to grind off the paint and filling dents with sealers or primers. This makes it more eco-friendly since no toxic chemicals or materials will be used on your vehicle.

4. No Paint Issues

Some people are still skeptical about PDR because they assume that their vehicle’s paint hob will be ruined. Rest assured that current factory paints are extremely flexible and durable so they can’t be easily damaged. Additionally, you won’t have to worry about the paints matching as you would with a traditional dent repair.

5. Time = Money

Time savings are also an excellent reason for choosing PDR. Majority of minor dents may be easily fixed in under an hour. In addition, you won’t have to come back to the repair shop because your vehicle has been perfectly restored to its pre-accident state.

Overall, paintless dent removal is an economical, fast, yet highly effective process to remove minor dents and keep your vehicle looking fresh and new. If you have a dent in your vehicle, better have it assessed by a professional, as not all dents can be removed with PDR.
