The Best Outdoor Experiences to Watch Out for in Sentosa

Sentosa Singapore

Sentosa is one of Singapore’s most popular destinations. And with good reason – there is no end to the many fun and amazing things you can do on the island. Singapore is a tropical country after all – this means sunshine and warm weather for most of the year.

What better way to enjoy the climate than to spend it outdoors? Here are just some of the many outdoor Singapore attractions and activities you should look out for:

Take a ride on the Singapore Cable Car Network

The Singapore Cable Car Network is one of the best ways to get from one part of the island to another. Singapore is home to two cable car lines that connect Sentosa and Faber Peak.

The first of the two lines is Mount Faber Line, which takes you over the hilltop, over a skyscraper and across the harbour. It gives you a magnificent view of the ocean – if you are lucky, you may even catch some frolicking dolphins down below.

The second one is the Sentosa Line, which passes through the jungle and through Sentosa’s biggest attractions. You can stop at Merlion Station, the S.E.A. Aquarium, Universal Studios Singapore and many more.

Be Mesmerised by an Outdoor Night Show

For a family friendly evening experience, visit the Wings of Time, a beautiful outdoor night show set against the Sentosa Sea. The Wings of Time is a technological feat, utilising a dizzying display of water, laser, and fire effects, all moving in time to the music. The Wings of Time is a 20 minute light show and starts at 7:40 pm every night.

Zip over the Treetops with Mega Adventure Park

If you enjoy flying through the treetops, why not try the MegaZip at the Mega Adventure Park? This zip line starts at the top of Imbiah Hill and takes you over the jungle canopy, before landing at the Siloso Beach.

For something a bit more challenging, you can try the MegaClimb, a ropes obstacle course that takes you high above the Sentosa hilltops.

Sentosa has many more outdoor adventures from which to choose. Be sure to visit the island yourself and discover its many wonders.
